Ultimate Spider-Man (Infinite Comics) (2015) - Rival Schools (Part 2) is the twenty-first issue of the Ultimate Spider-Man Infinite Comics.
Synopsis[]
Musty the Mustang, beloved mascot of Midtown High, has been kidnapped! Spider-Man and the gang are busy with training and must decide if a rescue mission for Musty is a priority!
Plot[]
On the S.H.I.E.L.D. Tricarrier, Nick Fury and Phil Coulson are briefing about Musty the Mustang's kidnapping to the team and inform them that Midtown High School's opposing team Springdale High School say that they have nothing to do with it and have pledged their full support. He then informs the team that Agent Coulson and him have had a talk that S.H.I.E.L.D. and the team will not be involved with the recovery. Spider-Man complains about it but Director Fury has made it clear before dismissing them. The team discuss about going to save Musty but Power Man refuses with White Tiger thinking that he is afraid of Horses but he reveals that he is allergic to horses. Iron Fist reveals that thirty years ago, Midtown High chose Musty, a young miniature foal to be their mascot until Midtown High's rivals, the Brighton Beach Hammerheads kidnapped Musty as a Homecoming prank before they got arrested. He also reveals that people believed that the members of the team were all sons of the organized crime crime family, the Maggia, enemies that Spider-Man and White Tiger have fought before. Nova believes that Director Fury is doing this to test their stealth techniques. He also believes that Director Fury wants them to take the stealth suits, watches and paper. They take the stealth suits, watches and paper and transport to Brooklyn while also dressed in Brooklyn clothing.
